Mryoghurt theParagon is a South African musician and a singer. Inspired by a rapper called Dax
He was born in Mokopane (Mahwelereng Zone2) and currently based in Tzaneen(Bolobedu). He always had big dreams, so thinking about them without completing them was always disturbing him emotionally. His family didn't understand his vision, as people don't really invest in what they don't understand and believe in. His family was like that and he had to do everything on his own when it comes to his music journey.
His passion for music started at an early age. Since he was young he always had this thing of singing other people's songs to feel better. He used to perform and lipsinc songs by other artists until he decided to record his own songs. He started to record his own songs in 2009.
At first he had no motivation at all, he was just doing everything for the love of it, until he had a conversation with an artist called Dax, through online. His work inspired Mryoghurt to a point where he had to text him and he replied, that's where his hopes got high.
Dax was always achieving a lot, achievements that Mr yoghurt wished for, him following dax made him a better person. Now he is Working on his own, going for what he want in life, without a label or any kind of promotion.
He has an upcoming project titled "Be You". In this project(Ep) he is thinking of working with underground/upcoming artists that are under him. "The reason why I'm doing this is because I know how it feels not to be given a chance when you know your work is great, so since they wish to get to the status that I am now I'll surely give them a chance", he says.
His biggest highlight are reaching a higher level which he is on right now (one of the famous Musicians in South Africa) without any radio airplay, without any record deal. King Monada and Mack Eaze released a song titled 'A Se moruti', he took part in this song by rapping, his vocals are in the middle of the song.
He want to reach and heal broken hearts and also give the hopeless hope. He want to let people know that they're not alone and whatever they're going through is just life playing its part. He aims to be a business man that works smart not hard. So it means that he will run multi businesses that doesn't require most of my time.
By the time Covid-19 was getting stronger, that's when the biggest musician in his town known as King Monada decided to take him in, unfortunately plans didn't work out. He stayed at his place for 5 months during the lockdown. Things didn't go as planned but atleast he learned a lot from him and the team.
