Soul T IDYAN Stepped into the hip hop game

Thulani, known by his stage name Soul T IDYAN was is a rapper born in western cape.

He was born in Western cape, small town called Paarl. He currently lives in Johannesburg. Growing up for him was a wonderful experience. Things started changing when he got a bit older and more exposed to the streets outside. He Started hanging out with the wrong company in primary and eventually started doing drugs, dropping in and out of high school till 2016 when he realized that he needed help and my parents took him to rehab. In 2017 he was out of rehab and he started doing music with his friend Stream-Easy. Since then he have been pushing International hip hop music until 2020 during lockdown, he discovered his potential to rap in Xhosa and he did very well.

He always took his work serious but he started to put in more time and effort in 2020. When he was a kid, his brother was a big fan of Eminem and Zola 7, his other brother in Durban used to be a rapper. Now he is also a rapper, rapping about what he have gone through and inspiring the street's through his raps. He is currently working on a project tittled HIP HOP IS NOT DEAD with one of his favorite deejays in the industry, Dj Reezyville. He chose to work with him because Dj Reezyville always believed in him and used to play his music on his sets at Mhlobo Wenene, gave him a lot of exposure.

One of the best highlights of his career is working with Yanga Chief, Flash Ikumkani and Bhut'legend on the Re-Up of my reco Idyan. He would love his stories to give hope to the young talented kids trying to make it out the hood. He has pure intentions in anything and to everyone.

"What I can say to the young rapper is that Be realistic as you can on your raps, No one can tell your story better than you can and no one can take that away from you", he said.

Covid-19 effected his come up and mostly financially, lacking more gigs but still trying to push music. That was the hardest.
