Sweet disasters rising dancing career field

Sweet disaster is a very talented dancing crew that consists of three males, Sekokotla Letsatsi (pontsho), Elias Matla (Buti Buti.SA) and Prince Pilusa (Pricardo)

They were born and raised in ga-mothapo, Polokwane, and that's were they are all currently based, but Elias was born in Rankuwa, Pretoria

They grew up in poor families, growing up was very hard for them as they sometimes slept with empty bellies. It was hard for them to get recognised as they community/surrounding had fewer opportunities, it was hard for them to distribute their brand. They began hustling and as a result they are now able to make an income that changes their standard of living

They fell in love with dancing when they were very young, at first they were all solo dancers but they came with an idea to unite because they believed that a team is much better that being solo as they will be able to push their content together. They introduced their crew and they named it Sweet Disaster Dance Crew

They were inspired and motivated by a crew called the Thembisa Red Devils and the greatest of them all (Buti Buti Mmatli). They used to look upto them.

On the 12th December 2021 they will be performing live at meropa Casino 5th Annual Miss Capricorn District. They decided to work with them, hence it's a good opportunity to also promote themselves

They shared a stage with Makhadzi, they took part in a music video of King Monada and Clement Maosa but unfortunately they didn't appear on the music video. Since they started they brand, they appeared on three music videos, Bomma by Motonetro, 6ekseni by Listo and Tronkong by Dios Onedee. They also opened a stage for Julias Malema at one of his events at the University of Limpopo during the election This year, and been nominated at Golden Art & Media Awards #GAMA2021 and Mzanzi Art & Media #MAMA2021 as the best group of the year

They want to inspire people and show them that dancing is also the best career field, they want to be role models. They would like to be remembered as the best pantsula dancers that were known worldwide. They also took position one in a competition of Paledi mall hosted by radio turf FM

"Don't give up, when you feel like giving up remember why you started, and always associate yourself with people whom will promote what you do", they said, that's actually their message to hustlers out there.

Covid-19 affected them negatively because they were not getting booked, resulted in low income
